Thai performance artist Taweesak Molsawat led five artists in a four day workshop to explore durational performance with a culmination of five new performance pieces developed to debut and exhibit during “Galleries Night BKK 2020”. “Body Politic: Out of Picture” showcases these performances happening within Bridge Art Space as well as other public and private spaces. The project aims to develop and create alternative outlets for a new generation of performance artists while also bringing awareness to durational performance in Thailand.
การแสดงศิลปะแสดงสดแบบต่อเนื่อง จากศิลปินไทย นำโดย ทวีศักดิ์ มูลสวัสดิ์ และอีก 5 ศิลปินที่ผ่านการเข้าร่วมเวิร์คชอปร่วมกัน 4 วันเต็ม พร้อมแล้วที่จะจัดแสดงในนิทรรศการ “Body Politic: Out of Picture” ในคืนวันงาน “Galleries Night BKK 2020” ผลงานชิ้นสดใหม่ของศิลปินหน้าใหม่ในศิลปะการแสดงสดแบบต่อเนื่องนี้ จัดขึ้นที่ Bridge Art Space และ ตามข้างทางบนท้องถนนของเจริญกรุง โครงการนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อส่งเสริมและเปิดโอกาสให้กับศิลปินได้ทดลอง และเพิ่มความรู้ความเข้าใจในศิลปะการแสดงสดในแนวทางของตนเอง
How would you like my dignity to be cooked? By Taweesak Molsawat
“Body politic: Out of Picture-How would You like my Dignity to be Cooked?” is a durational performance emphasizing on posing an open-ended question regarding theorical concept of performance art and the roles of artist and audience with social issues of prejudice, identity, race, migration, economic and exploitation in society today.
This durational performance is about neither the physicality of objects nor commercial constructed role of art.

The interactions between those in power who hold the strength and those who are perceived as weaker create a never-ending battle. The audience is invited to play, ponder and contemplate their own reactions. When one side is winning, the other is losing, unavoidably.
Y? by Pornthip Singrotai
Pornthip explores ideas relating to the gendered body and her feelings toward biological changes. Questions of who suffers most and why are investigated in this durational performance.
